Agriturismo Il Gelsomino Ritrovato

Il Gelsomino Ritrovato was truly a very pleasant surprise. We were in a group and had booked two of the rooms at the property, so we did not stay in the camping area, and we had a great time. The atmosphere is so pleasant and relaxed that, even though we were in Milazzo with many things to do and see, at a certain point we almost wanted to not go out and simply spend the afternoon there, between the pool, relaxation, and chatting in good company. And perhaps this is the best compliment we can pay to Il Gelsomino Ritrovato: it manages to create a real bubble of peace. The surroundings are pleasant and clean, and the property offers everything you need to spend a comfortable and relaxing stay. The rooms perhaps have a slightly less modern setup regarding the availability of electrical outlets: if, like us, you travel with several devices to charge, it may be useful to bring a power strip. But we are really talking about a small detail that did not in the least affect the quality of the stay. We also had dinner at the property, and the food is very good: if one evening you don't feel like going out, staying for dinner is absolutely a good idea. A special mention goes to Alessandro and Natalia, whom we found likable, helpful, and above all, pleasantly authentic. We had read some reviews where someone defined them as "particular": they probably are, but for us, it is a peculiarity that becomes a merit. They have a spontaneous and direct way of doing things, without too many formalities, which we appreciated a lot. After all, this is a place to choose precisely if you want to slow down, relax, and enjoy a little bubble of peace, not if you are also approaching a vacation with an excessively frantic attitude. As for breakfast, for us, it was absolutely sufficient and pleasant. Being a property immersed in such a unique setting, some might perhaps expect a more "rustic" breakfast, with a greater presence of local products. Instead, it is a good, classic continental breakfast, also including some packaged products. That said, we enjoyed it, and the breakfast time was also very pleasant. At the end of the stay, we really struggle to find any significant flaws. We had a good time, we relaxed, we ate well, and we were welcomed with friendliness. If we return to Sicily and pass through Milazzo again, the Gelsomino Ritrovato will certainly be a property we will consider for a new stay.

Beautiful location, very kind staff right from the start. Mr. Alessandro but also his son and everyone who works there. We stayed for two nights, taking advantage of the pool, restaurant (thanks to the super courteous waiter), the transfer to the port, and all the suggestions we received. If I may, without offense, the only change I would make is to the showers. Personally, I prefer doors to curtains, and I would abolish the unhygienic single tub. For the rest, a top experience

Pleasant atmosphere from 12:00 PM. ( Prior "rustic" noise disturbance consistent with an agricultural setting). Pools appeared unkempt. " "Trattoria": sorry... the term promises too much. Food was delicious. It was just a rustic dinner. Gastro service: still needs to be trained... Conclusion: for 1 day/night: total peace: recommended. But then perhaps look for an alternative...
