Eolian Milazzo

So, regarding my experience at this hotel, I must say it was fabulous; I felt quite comfortable, beautiful atmosphere, gorgeous place. Excellent dinner, wonderful bedroom with a balcony that overlooks the sea and you can see all of Milazzo; upon waking up, you could see the sunrise. Breakfast with everything one wanted, one could choose what one preferred.... I must say excellent place, clean, quiet, gives a homey feel, welcoming.... I would go back, beautiful experience

I recently booked 25 rooms at the Eolian Milazzo Hotel in July for a group of 70 clients. The property itself is outstanding—the views, rooms, breakfast, and pool areas are all beautiful, and my group loved their stay overall. However, the initial check-in experience was very disappointing. As a travel advisor bringing visitors to my hometown in Sicily, I came to the front desk to assist my clients with checking in. One of the front desk women was clearly unhappy to be there, acted rudely, and made it obvious she resented my presence to help my group. Over our 5-night stay, almost every client mentioned having a negative interaction with this same individual. It was embarrassing, as I had spent months telling my group how warm and welcoming Sicilians are, only for her to be their first impression. I mentioned this to a gentleman at the front desk upon departure, but he didn't seem to know how to address it. While everything else about our stay was wonderful, this staff member should not be the primary face representing your front desk to arriving guests.

Terrible service at the reception, the girl was unprepared for everything, she couldn't even find the reservation, she needed a map to find the parking lot and couldn't even read it. Furthermore, at 12:00 the room was still not ready. No one told us the breakfast time or where it would be served. No one accompanied us to the room after handing over the keys. (always given with rudeness, almost as a favor) We head to the pool where the restaurant is also located.... Even worse! Pool overflowing with people, exaggerated prices! Waiters are rude, nervous, and inattentive to customers' requests! Blonde girl very nervous and rude. Snorting and making faces! Drinks served hot. The older gentleman is yelling and scolding the boys! Smiling despite the fatigue never hurts . Given the conditions of everything else! We decide to go to the other pool and find broken tables and broken lounge chairs. Very small pool. The only positive note … the tall gentleman who worked the night shift. The only kind person who even told us which key we had, because all the guests were listed as being in their rooms (this is always for the girls at check-in who didn't even tell us what to do during our stay) They kindly told us the breakfast time and where it was served! Exquisite breakfast, except for the gentleman making the coffees 😩🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 in his own world I DON'T THINK I WILL EVER RETURN
