We had the pleasure of staying at Casa al Castello and can only express our sincerest gratitude and admiration for this extraordinary experience. Since our arrival we were greeted with authentic warmth by the owners, people of a very rare kindness and availability. Always present, discreet but ready to meet every need, they convey a sincere passion for hospitality and impeccable professionalism. The villa is simply splendid: an oasis with attention to detail, immersed in silence and nature but just minutes from Modica and all the main attractions of the area. The rooms are spacious, spotless, fragrant and equipped with every comfort: from the private bathroom to the private entrance, you can breathe a very rare attention to the well-being of guests. The common areas are one of the strengths of Casa al Castello. The rooftop pool is a daydream, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Added to this are numerous relaxation corners, a regenerating whirlpool and a super-equipped communal kitchen, which allowed us to feel really “at home”, but with the magic of a charming resort. The geographical location is strategic: ideal for exploring the Sicilian Baroque, from the wonders of Modica to Ragusa Ibla, Scicli and even the sea, all easily accessible by car. Casa al Castello is not just a place to stay, it is an experience that remains in the heart. If you are looking for a peaful and calm place which is perfect to relax and re-energize, do not look any further. It is the perfect location if you have a rental car, would like to relax for a few days around the pool or in the hammock. It is super calm and quiet as only one dirt road is leading to the place and it is surrounded by a beautiful canyon. The Casa is also a good location for a day at the beach (30mins) or to cities like Modica, Ragusa, Noto or Syracusa. You have a very unique sight also directly next to the Casa, as there a historical caves where people used to live as well as Graves. The place offers everything you need in the rooms and in the garden and it was perfectly clean. The host is super nice and helpful and the breakfast is spectacular. It consists of many local specialities as well as home made cakes which are amazing. Thank you very much for the great time we got to spend at Casa al Castello!

My partner and I spent 3 nights at Casa al Castello but wished we had stayed here our entire holiday. The villa is situated literally on a rock in a lush valley where the breeze calms you down. Paolo makes you feel at home with all of his heart. His dedication and hospitality is also what makes this place stand out. From his fresh baked morning cheese cake and typical breakfast to providing many relaxing and romantic spots around the villa. Swing in a hammock under the olive trees, slide in the jacuzzi with a view of the valley or climb down the adventurous nearby steps where you find Neolithic caves to explore.
