Modica Palace

From the photos on the site the hotel looks new but in person it is not very new. The bottom of the pool has large stains and the outdoor showers are not functional, the hydromassage of the small pool does not work. Breakfast is not rich and the gluten-free and lactose-free food is very, very scarce. The staff, however, is very kind and helpful.

A nice place for sure, but, dirty pool, solarium with well-kept greenery but the rest is neglected and dirty, dirty rooms. Only to discover that a large part of the swimmers in the pool were "relatives of someone" and obviously were not staying at the hotel. Great potential and a really nice place, what a shame!

The hotel is wonderful, the pool is quite large with cool water that refreshes you on a hot day. The lounge chairs are free after you have taken a swim in the pool. The reception staff are super kind, so much so that when the shower door wasn't working, they offered us a Modica chocolate of our choice. The morning buffet is rich in food: croissants, juices, cake, cereal, etc. The price is affordable for a hotel with a pool. So I would gladly return. In the future too!! P.S. The room (for three people) is excellent, so much so that the shower is huge (in my opinion).
