Villa Rica

Unfortunately, my experience at this property was disappointing. In the bed I found a large dead mosquito between the sheets, as well as hair — definitely not very hygienic. Luckily I only stayed one night, otherwise I don't know how I would have managed. The bathroom, all in all, was average, nothing exceptional but not a total loss either. A sore point is the pool: the water was green, to the point that swimming in it seemed risky rather than relaxing. Among the positive notes: the lawn and the lounge chairs, well-maintained and pleasant, and the view is truly beautiful. There are also a dog and a cat on the property, which are cute, although perhaps their presence should be managed better in relation to the cleanliness of the rooms. Overall, a place with potential thanks to the view and the outdoor spaces, but one that needs to seriously review its cleaning standards, especially regarding the rooms and the pool.

We had dinner at Villa Rica last night and the experience was truly very pleasant. We ate very well, with quality dishes, well-prepared and rich in flavor. The location is splendid, cared for in the smallest details, and immersed in a relaxing atmosphere. You can breathe in a familiar and welcoming environment, with kind, attentive, and always available staff. It is the ideal place to spend a nice evening in good company. We will definitely be back. Compliments to the entire staff!

A very beautiful and quiet place, ideal for finding oneself and unplugging. About ten minutes from Patti Marina, it allows you to visit local attractions (Tindari, beaches, etc.) without too much effort; obviously, a personal vehicle is necessary, as public transport does not reach there, and the last stretch of road is in poor condition. The cottage is well-maintained and in a beautifully panoramic position with a view of the Aeolian Islands, the owner Willy and the staff were extremely courteous and always generous with advice; the dishes served in their restaurant were excellent, pasta and meat at the top! The pool is also beautiful, immersed in greenery and equipped with everything needed (shower, sun loungers, umbrellas). The only note I have is regarding the room which, in my opinion, needs to be modernized; I am not saying it was uncomfortable, but the bathroom should be completely redone and some internal details (broken mosquito net, non-functioning outlets, absence of mirrors, etc.) are a bit off-putting. Nevertheless, I recommend the place without hesitation, especially to those who love tranquility and good food, as well as interpersonal relationships with kind and available people. There are two cats and a dog, very friendly and used to being with guests. Will we return? Definitely yes!!
