I highly recommend this place . The location is ideal, a short car-ride away from other places of interest in this typical area of Sicily. Its views are incredible and the local hosts so friendly that, even after a few days, we all felt extremely relaxed and at home. During our stay, it was evident that Luciano, the owner, and his helpers, have a sincere passion and an admirable willingness to please their guests. We all slept well and in the mornings, were regaled with a sumptuous and genuine breakfast abundant of the area's delicacies and as many coffees and teas as we wanted. It was so nice to feel welcome, when most of the places you go to today are just intent of grabbing your money without giving you that friendly, genuine service that everyone looks for. Well done La Casa sulla Collina d'Oro... I really hope to have the opportunity to visit again.

We had a last minute booking at La Casa Rossa but when we got there were met by Luciano saying we'd be staying round the corner in his house (rather than his daughter's). We lucked out - an equally impressive view over the Duomo, delicious and plentiful breakfast (sweet and savoury) and a generous host in Luciano. You are a bit out of the centre and do need a car but Luciano also has safe parking.

It is a beautiful b&b with a breathtaking view of the cathedral of Piazza Armerina, Luciano and his collaborators are special, kind and extremely helpful people. More than good breakfast with a wide choice in the Italian tradition
