Villaggio Cala Mancina

I stayed at this village and I want to say that I had a really great time; optimal entertainment, modern and renovated facilities, and comfort ensured thanks to the bar near the pool.

Having returned after an excellent experience, I found a sharp decline and unjustified cuts to services: Entertainment: Improvised and unreliable. Non-existent Mini Club and 6 nights out of 7 of just karaoke. never seen anything like it Pool: Pool edges that stain and ruin swimsuits; entrance full of bees. Cleanliness and Reception: Accumulated trash without daily disposal and staff unprepared to handle complaints. Restaurant and Bar: Internal restaurant closed and bar with very limited hours (closed at 8:00 in the morning and in the evening during the entertainment). I hope the management completely reviews the operation.

Many things they advertise on the website are not true. The hotel is not on the beachfront. It is halfway up a slope, at a good distance from the sea, a very unpleasant situation on a sunny and hot day in summer. The pool is smaller than it looks on the website. Also, there are few lounge chairs for the number of rooms. On top of that, people leave their towels on the lounge chairs first thing in the morning and leave them all day, and the hotel does not prevent it. The rooms are very old; they need an urgent renovation. Especially the air conditioning, electrical, and hot water systems. The air conditioning in our room was 22 years old (confirmed by the hotel's technical staff) and was not able to cool the room on very hot days. The electrical breakers were tripping constantly; I had to disconnect appliances to avoid it. The heater stopped working after a day and a half of our arrival. In short, an absolute disaster that does not correspond to a 4-star hotel with those prices. Breakfast is at an adjacent hotel, with another wonderful slope to climb in summer. It has very little variety, poor quality and on top of that they do not replenish the basic products that run out. The only good thing about the hotel was the person in charge of the pool bar, he is a ten!!
