Archimede Vacanze - Bed & Breakfast

The location of the B&B is strategic, our room was clean and tastefully furnished, although a bit small. The breakfast is simple and good. The host is kind and available for recommendations and advice. The problem is the window frame: if the room faces the square, soundproofing is necessary! The establishments below are rightly frequented until late, and at dawn, the cleaning vehicles for the square do their job. The B&B is located on the top floor without an elevator.

I just returned from a weekend in Ortigia, leaning on Archimede b&b. What about it? The structure is very central, in one of the famous squares of Ortigia. The rooms are clean, thanks to the attention of Mrs. Cecilia who takes care of tidying rooms / preparing breakfast. Ms. Floriana, owner of the structure, is really very kind ready to advise you where to have lunch in Ortigia and available for any problem. Structure recommended, absolutely.

The best features of this B&B are the unbeatable location and the wonderful manager Floriana who organised tours for us and was delightful in every way. It overlooks Piazza Archimedes and is only a hundred metres from Piazza Duomo. It has dozens of great cafes and restaurants only metres away. The hop on hop off bus visiting most of the tourist destinations stops right outside and an all day ticket can be purchased for €5. The breakfasts are delicious. My only negatives, a very small shower and unreliable wifi.
