Best Western Palace Helios

The room is very clean, spacious and quiet. Massimmiliano was our contact during our stay and he was very helpfull. You will be welcome by Massimmiliano's mother who is a sweetheart lady, and she will make sure that you will have everything in order during your stay. When we left she offert is a pot with a verrryyyyy delicious home made orange jam. For sure I will come back to this place next time I visit Sicily. NB: I hope that this is the Helios Inn appartment in Syracuse, not an hotel

We traveled with a group of 27 people throughout Sicily and found this hotel experience the worst. Out of 16 rooms, 5 needed to be changed because of plumbing problems. The other 10 rooms had minor faults but because of all the turmoil we stayed in them. Our group leaders went out and purchased drinking water for all of us because of the color of the water. The hotel had few amenities and its location had few stores etc. around it. We were thankful we were only there one night.

We were desperate for a room as we had not booked one. When we arrived they gave us a good deal so i cant complain on the price. The room was large and well equipped. The hotel itself is in bad need of a facelift but to be honest we only slept in the hotel and ate in Ortiga.
