The property is used as a support to the Palazzo Cavalieri hotel, where the reception is located. To have breakfast (albeit plentiful), guests must cross the street and go to the Cavalieri hotel premises. We were told we had been warned but in the emails we received we found nothing. The room could be better cared for and the bathroom (shower in particular) in pitiful conditions to say the least. Noisy road and finding space x the car equals a lotto win. Note positive strategic location x visit Ortigia. Friendly staff

Unfortunately negative experience, I would never return to this property nor in the connected one (The Knights) where you actually do checkin and breakfast. The only positive news is the location of the hotel and the size of the rooms. For the rest it was a thrilling experience, noisy room for work in progress NOT communicated, balcony with malfunctioning shutter that did not close all, dirty shower in several places, sink with tap too attached and impractical to use, bathroom bulb not working. I tried to call reception to report the noise problem hoping for a move request. Again, I had to deal with a rude attendant who verbally assaulted me and claimed that "it was not their responsibility that there was work in progress in the building." I tried to explain that they should have told me before checking in but it was useless; he just attacked me again verbally and in the end I gave up and I never slept in the afternoon in the room.

A sort of barracks without anyone to welcome you, we had to go to the nearby hotel x do everything, accompanied to the room, to welcome a den of mosquitoes that have destroyed us and the children, dust everywhere, but of the one that settles in a few months, if anyone had doubts that tried to put a hand on the TV, appropriate for TV, x turn it on you have to use the first remote control, wait 3 seconds and only then use the other remote control, make a prayer and hope that it turns on, this is the answer of the lady who welcomed us, hard beds but that harder you can not and really bad cleaning, the only positive note the guys who served breakfast, really professional, a parenthesis on breakfast, be quick, because if it ends is not replaced, leaving the hot potato to the poor guys who are not to blame and must justify themselves to the poor customers left dry. Absolutely bad
