Le Grand Bleu B&B

I am very sorry to have to write such a review and give such a low rating, because despite the great appreciation towards the great availability of Salvo, unfortunately the BeB was not the best, beyond the availability the positive note is the proximity to the center which is about 5 minutes walk. The rooms were equipped with working air conditioning, more or less comfortable bed and balcony overlooking the harbor. But the conditions of the kitchen and bathrooms were really bad, the kitchen was a mass of things all together, really uninviting the desire to use it, the bathrooms were 2, the showers not really at the top, for a person like me who is very careful to have seen a quantity of limescale on the taps, showers and tiles nothing short of yellow is really unhygienic, despite being guaranteed that the bathrooms are checked often (and I hope it is indeed so) for me it was not a good experience not forgetting that even in this case in the bathrooms things were arranged not quite in the right ways. Breakfast was not mentioned to me at any time, usually I do not discuss the furnishings but they were really very backward, maybe a nice restoration would be the best thing.

Perfect location, room with great views. 60s style apartment, well done and very vintage. Salvo is a really helpful, kind and professional person. It immediately puts you at ease and provides you with all the required information. If you are not too picky and you just need a bed, a location 🔝 and a beautiful view, this is the B&B for you. Recommended absolutely!

Pros: nice host, Salvo will tell you everything you want to know about the city and can recommend good affordable restaurants. Room is clean but best thing is the amazing view on both ports and beautiful sunrise if you wake up early! The use of the kitchen was a good thing! Cons: only one, the shower! It was so small we could hardly wash ourselves, I hope Salvo will do something about it in the future for new guest so the place will get the best recommendations! Thanks Salvo for a lovely stay!
