We booked the appartment on the information and photographs that were on the website and the reviews we had read, On arriving at the building it was clear that the building was derelict and on entering the main front door the lobby floor was covered in junk mail. The appartment was on the third floor and the door entering the appartment had been broken into and the hole filled with a white filler. We could not put our food in the freeer as it was so dirty and had not been cleaned, There was nothing to light the cooker with and the kitchen cupboards were rusty and dirty. The TV did not work as there was no batteries in the remote. The shower was both dirty and mouldy. The bed settee was so stained and dirty we had to put a cover on it so we could sit down. The bed room was clean but the bed was broken. The appartment was nothing like the photographs we had seen when booking the appartment and it had not been renovated in any way. We requested alernative accommodation and was informed that they did not have anything else avaliable. Then we were informed that they did have another appartment at an additional cost of 15 euros. Once we had advised that we would write an honest review and upload pictures of the appartment we were we were told that they could move us but is was to complicated now as we had started to prepare someting to eat. I do not doubt that they do have some lovely appartments but I would not recommend booking the Blue Suite. We had a very unpleasant stay and I did not feel safe in this appartment during my stay.

The apartment was beautiful, very close to the city centre, clean, bright and provided with every comfort. The location was great, everything we needed was just a walk away: restaurants, shopping, the old town centre, walks on the sunset on the beach and the ferry for Favignana. The staff is bilingual, so our foreign friends had no problem to understand their advices. The owner is professional and trustworthy and also has a touristic agency so we asked him for anything Trapani has to offer and I think that was very handy. Honesty and quality well above standards, we could not make a better choice!!

The hosts arranged airport transfers for us which was great as we arrived so late and left so early-this fit in with the Ryanair flight really well. We were four people and the flat was small-with the sofa bed pulled out there was little room. Even though it was a great location, there was only air conditioning in the living room, which was in fact faulty, so the heat in the bedroom was unbearable. We tried to rent a car with them as is advertised in their services but due to it being high season there weren't any available. For about 27 euros per person it is not bad, but it could have been better.
