Pantelleria Dream Exclusive Hotel

Excellent experience! Remarkable location, silence, peace, kindness and cordiality, and delicious food

The property, despite the architectural design and the splendid location, does not meet the standards of the price and the four stars; details that certainly make the difference. Upon arrival, we asked for an internal hotel transfer; a guy came to pick us up who introduced himself by saying that he was there by chance, that the island was boring especially at this time of year, but oh well. We arrive at the hotel, no one brings our luggage to the room, and when we enter the room, we discover that the dammuso sold as luxury on Booking corresponded to the standard one. We pointed this out, and after telling us that the photos on Booking and on the site are placed randomly, because the dammusi are all the same. The young manager says he will try to resolve it, but we never saw him again during the entire 5-day stay. Let's move on to the dammuso: there is no phone to call in case of need, there is no vanity set in the bathroom, there is no glass, there is no service menu, there is no notepad and pen, there isn't even a list for useful numbers or room service that was mentioned when it is sold. The TV was in such a position that you couldn't even watch it, to the side of the bed. Let's move on to the towels: 2 towels changed in 5 days, ecology is fine, but maybe we should also keep an eye on cleanliness. The 4-star hotel, which by obligation should have a concierge all day, does not have one and the reception closes at 10:00 PM. Since the dammusi are all spread out, with a gate open even to strangers 24 hours a day, a concierge or surveillance cameras would be at least necessary; they are not there. Breakfast: mediocre, but there is no allergen list anywhere; in many of the products there is no name for what you are eating, so the jam, just like a croissant, is a surprise. Ordering eggs etc. is à la carte, too bad that there is no menu! The pool is small, always full, and at 7:30 PM everything is closed; actually, I correct myself, they put up barriers while you might be reading a book, with no one approaching to let you know. Let's move on to the professionalism of the staff... a pity, I would say! It is clear that many of the young people do not have adequate training; the young manager should perhaps study hotel and customer care procedures a bit more, because all these things reported during and at the time of check-out (early) after having settled the bill were not taken into consideration, not even with an email or phone call. In short, the dream needs to be completely re-evaluated.

DREAM RESORT. Never was a name more fitting... A beautiful experience, a dream vacation. Staff (all of them) prepared, helpful, and professional. Fantastic food (Acquamore restaurant). Spectacular view. A special mention, however, goes to the "very young" (only in age) DIRECTOR CESARE, professionally incomparable and to whom we intend to extend our most sincere thanks.... we felt pampered, from the first to the last day. THANK YOU (🐶 Zelda)
