We stayed at this hotel for ten days; it was our first time there. Mario, the waiter in charge of the dining room, argued with a customer because a portion of food was missing. Instead of fixing the mistake, he started yelling in the dining room in front of everyone, causing a big scene. He is a rude and arrogant young man. On another occasion, we asked if it was possible to dry some clothes we had washed; the weather was bad, so we wanted to know if there was any place to dry them. He was already agitated and started yelling. I told him that I would simply take the wet clothes to the room. This waiter is too arrogant and rude; you simply cannot talk to a customer like that.

A friend and I planned a once in a lifetime ski trip and found this hotel (Villa Hotel Agomer), it was in a great position just across the road from a gondola ( Alba Ciampac) going to the Ciampac area and the cable car (Alba Col dei Rossi) which gets you onto the Sella Ronda. We arrived on Monday 15th December 2025 @ 02.30 (fortunately / unfortunately we had had a great drive across Europe from Southampton). We waited outside until we saw lights coming on, around 07.00. We were informed that breakfast started at 07.30 and were made to feel welcomed straight away. We had breakfast and given a room so that we could get changed to go skiing straight away. The team that runs this perfect hotel were just fantastic; Emanuele, Vera, Mario, Francesco, Fernado, Yana, Marina, Ciano and Matteo. Thank you all for making our special holiday so great, you all work so hard but nothing was ever too much trouble for you. I seemed to time walking to and from the ski room just after the floors had been mopped clean morning and afternoons, sorry Yana & Marina😉. Our rooms and the community spaces were always clean. The food was really, really good, help yourself salad, followed by soup a different one each day but all of them so tasty then a pasta dish, followed by main and finally desert. There for 8 weeks and didn’t get bored with the food, thanks Ciano and Matteo. Ferando and Francesco, thanks for the coffee every morning I couldn’t have survived without my Americano to start the day. You were always so welcoming always had a smile and nothing seemed to phase you. Vera and Emanuele, running the business side of the operation making sure everything just worked, serving drinks in the bar, filling in when others either had days off or just spotting something needed to be done. Finally Mario, not sure want he did 😉, only joking. Getting up to do an early morning run, being a waiter at breakfast, then a ski instructor during the day (and a vey good one, thanks for your help for improving my skiing). Waiter for dinner, servicing skis. I am sure he did more but I had to sleep. Whilst we were there we had friends and family stay with us in the hotel and not one negative comment has been mentioned. When we left it was like say goodbye to lifelong friends, thanks you all and I was so lucky to celebrate my 60th birthday and getting engaged with you all. I wish you all the very best for 2026. It is a very simple hotel that certainly boasts the excellent location (in front of two lifts). The area is very pretty outside the chaos of Canazei and connected by a nice walk in the woods. The kitchen is simple but very very good, the Service top (congratulations to the two guys in the room, admirable professionalism). But since the structure is a bit dated and you can see, I dare to say that you could "refresh a little maybe renewing the upholstery, the old and dusty felt blankets, the pillows, the stained bathroom mats.... And finally removing the anticovid rules still hanging at the entrance 🤣 All small tricks that do not require a big investment but do a lot!
