La Roccia is perfectly located for those who would like to hike and see the Dolomites. There is a lift within walking distance (Alpe Cermis) and many others that are within a 30-minute drive. We traveled without a car, but we loved the hikes that Mauricio chose and led for us. The hikes were about 3 hours and were challenging, but not expert-level, thankfully. We welcomed his help navigating the lift system the first time and appreciated him providing us with a travel card that allowed us to access any lift in the system for our entire stay! We loved the dog-friendly hotel. Being from the US, we thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get a dog fix on the regular. The staff was amazing: very friendly, outgoing, helpful, and interesting. I want to highlight a particularly helpful employee named Sara. She went out of her way to talk to us and we loved her recommendation that we try a Hugo Spritz -- we loved it and continued to order that specific drink in our travels throughout Italy for the duration of our trip. The pool is *heavenly.* I loved hiking all morning, and then relaxing at the pool in the afternoon. The view cannot be beaten. Absolute bliss. The breakfast each morning was hearty and we had plenty to choose from. The restaurant and patio were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the amazing view. We'd love to come back again and do even more hiking with Mauricio!

Great discovery, I was there with my wife and son, a fantastic experience, beautiful wellness area, a hotel that really feels like the mountains, and a stellar dinner; last but not least, the courtesy of all the staff, including the owner. We will definitely return. Cristian

From the property to the staff, everything was truly excellent! Breakfast with high-quality products! A special mention for Ingrid at the reception, who was competent and helpful!
