Residence Aparthotel Des Alpes

I stayed at the Aparthotel with my family for 4 nights. The positive aspects are the organization, the cleanliness, the services offered and included in the price (private park + barbecue, entertainment, pool, spa..). The apartment is very functional; nothing is really missing. The location, which at first may seem out of the way, turned out to be convenient in the end. However, reaching the center will in all likelihood require the use of a car. There is public transportation, but I would say the schedules are not exactly very convenient. In the end, given the services offered, I found it convenient to return to the hotel after the classic excursions and not have any problems with parking or traffic. It has certainly become my new point of reference for a vacation in Cavalese. If I really have to force myself to find flaws, the entertainment can be noisy at times, especially for nearby rooms. However, it never lasts until late at night. In the spa, some services were not active or did not seem to be working (a sauna and some showers), but there was no information regarding this. The background music was really pleasant, but when the playlist ended, the staff evidently often forgot to restart it. I admit that I did not point out these problems because I did not consider them relevant at all, but more attention to these very small details would make everything truly perfect. Last note, if we want to be "green": having stayed in other hotels with a residence formula, it is common practice to leave leftovers in the room: a box of salt, some oil, some spices. If possible, I would allow and encourage this approach rather than asking to leave everything as it was upon arrival. I understand the possible safety implications, however. And as anticipated, everything is truly irrelevant. 5 stars well-deserved for me.

We stayed at this property, which allowed us to bring our little dog into the room (which is not a given), and to be able to use the fantastic private park that would have surely thrilled our 4-year-old daughter. Unaware, however, that being a family hotel, we would face great confusion every evening!! Disrespectful people who kept making noise until after midnight, not respecting the other families who rightfully wanted to rest! Rooms with poor soundproofing, game room open past 11:00 PM; having the apartment above, we heard an impressive amount of chaos!. Oversight by the property should be central and not secondary. We saw people walking around in towels and people shirtless in the hotel lobby; I understand there is a pool and spa, but you cannot see something like that!! Upon our arrival, we did not find the apartment clean, with a dirty floor and a bathroom that I had to clean again! There was a broom and dustpan without a handle; to clean, you had to use just that! A vacuum cleaner would have been much more functional for 8 days. Mattress covers stained with blood! It is unacceptable that room cleanliness is not checked. However, I find the friendliness of the reception to be a plus for the property, with cordial and helpful staff! And the exterior of the property is truly beautiful, with a wonderful private park for children and a really useful fenced-in dog area.

We booked this hotel in September of last year, with high expectations given the price. Perhaps that is what disappointed us. The house was dirty, our daughter crawls and on the first day her knees were black. We expected, since it is a hotel, that they might come by to clean the rooms during the week. Certainly the ability to use the hotel's pool and services increased the cost, but it was still not justified by the rest. Breakfast was always the same, the products did not seem fresh (we expected typical products/homemade cakes) and one day the buffet was even almost empty because there were so many people. The only truly positive note: the staff at the property were all very friendly and helpful.
