We spent two weeks at the Partaneshof and had a nice time at the hotel. Since we had to rebook on the day of arrival, we ended up at this hotel quite spontaneously, and although we arrived at check-in rather abruptly, we were welcomed warmly and received a nice room.
The hotel is quietly located on the edge of Merano, surrounded by vineyards belonging to the hotel. The hotel also includes a pool and a (newly designed) terrace with a view of the garden pond. We always liked sitting there and, for example, enjoyed a really delicious (!!) Aperol Spritz.
The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and quiet. What does not work so well is the air conditioning, which is particularly noticeable at high temperatures. And we missed having a drying rack.
Breakfast is rich and sustainable. Nothing to complain about.
We found the minibar drink prices to be rather too high, and the fact that one should not consume one's own food and drinks in the room is hardly feasible during a two-week stay.
Overall, however, there was little to complain about, and we had a great stay in a friendly, family-run hotel.

It was nice as always, we're the 4th. Sometimes summer guest and come home very relaxed. It's really all right for us. Small tip to the owner family.: It is so nice to sit outside with you, unfortunately without hospitality or opportunities to get something from 7 pm or 10 pm. Why not provide a fridge or vending machine with wine beer or other drinks, I suspect the offer will be very gladly accepted. See you next year.

Really beautifully located house in Merano. Beautifully landscaped garden with a spacious terrace.
The hotel is also well-kept and clean.
Friendly owners and friendly staff.
But only 3 stars:
The breakfast is really very spartan. Very, really very small selection of cheese, sausage and spreads. The baked goods are the cheapest baked goods.
Little to no fresh fruit... only on request. And then the guest gets 2 small pieces of melon....
For us, a nice breakfast is simply part of a vacation.
The guest doesn't find any fruit or water in the room as a welcome.
We're probably too spoiled by other hotels.
The bathing slippers... don't even come close to worthy of their name. It really doesn't get any cheaper.
They're really cutting costs in the wrong places here.
With a few small changes or additions, the house could be upgraded from a hotel to a feel-good hotel.
