I have to tell you about this wonderful hotel in Meran where I lived this winter during my Christmas holidays. I have always loved this place that I discovered several years ago. I was hardly surprised when I learned that it was named best hotel in South Tyrol in 2023 by a famous culinary magazine. The rooms are spacious, friendly service efficient and family friendly. No pompous atmosphere here but a certain natural joie de vivre. It was their breakfast in the garden last summer that blew my mind. A moment of grace. This winter we caught up on the new breakfast (or brunch according to time) worthy of a 5* hotel and much better than most starred restaurants where I could stay. See for yourself: an exceptional selection of small dishes to enjoy according to your budget and appetite. My favorites: poached egg mayonnaise with mushrooms, blueberry toast with fresh cream or hazelnut mortadella in lemongrass mayonnaise. But my fellow travellers loved Arctic char and homemade granola as well as organic bread served with real South Tyrolean coffee. The dining room is open to the public, enjoy it. This hotel also hosts dinner on Thursday evening and regularly organizes culinary events such as the one in January 2026 (Martin and Friends) that promotes traditional French bistro cuisine. A restaurant with a soul.

Very nice soothing place with magic breakfast, but stay spoiled by the complexity of access to the parking for the car: allow 30 minutes walk to the box return, delicate maneuvers because cramped access and capricious sectional door.
