Sittnerhof

I returned to this hotel after many years and unfortunately did not find the quality I expected, particularly regarding the dining. Breakfast with 4 cakes cut into very thin slices, and only one type of croissant. The mini muffins were good, for the savory part some cold cuts and cheese with jams, the choice of bread with different types was very good, but frankly poor overall. Dinner also disappointed us, a very limited appetizer buffet, the entrée was good but the choice was only between 2 first courses and 2 second courses and none of these were typical dishes or even particularly good, maybe we happened to be there on a bad night, but unfortunately it was not an unforgettable dinner, furthermore they seated us inside at a very isolated table without giving us a choice, even though the outdoor area was not pleasant either due to the many tables being very close to each other. The outdoor pool area is cute, small but nice, the indoor one is good enough even if a bit claustrophobic, a feeling given by the ceiling with a wooden structure and the color of the walls. A very positive note, however, is the room, which is spacious, as are the balcony and the bathroom. The center is not very close, about 10 minutes on foot. Frankly, from a 4-star hotel with a price that is equally in line with the stars, I expect different treatment, particularly regarding the dining.

Nice clean rooms, gym very small and cramped Pool area looks more spacious in the photo

Having returned to the Sittnerthof after many years, I found all the positive aspects of my previous vacation: a very quiet area a ten-minute walk from the center, a beautiful hotel managed with professionalism and warmth, beautiful rooms, an excellent restaurant, underground parking, adequate common areas (the outdoor ones are spacious and beautiful), outdoor and indoor pool, sauna. I hope to be able to return soon...
