Hotel Arnika Wellness

Encouraged by a very well-maintained website and the sponsorships on the Instagram page, I decided to book my stay at this property, but as I was arriving, I already understood that it would be disastrous. The hotel from the outside (although much larger than the other properties in the area) is old and poorly maintained: the wood on the facade is decaying and ruined. Already from the lobby, you can breathe an 80s atmosphere. The room (an economy one) was tiny. There was no luggage rack, but rather a cot with an uncovered mattress on which we were forced to place our suitcase in order to be able to walk in the room. The hotel claims to be pet friendly and I paid 120€ for my dog's stay, who did not use any service, other than the simple fact of having access to the property (on the website they boasted a warm dog bed and a set of bowls). Furthermore, my dog doesn't even shed, so an extra cleaning service was not necessary). The food was the worst part of the stay. In a mountain hotel, we were forced to consume poorly thawed and very poorly presented croissants, packaged sweets, industrial jams, and never anything typical. The dinners pretended to be gourmet, but the dishes were poorly cooked and absolutely not consistent with local products (suffice it to say that on Friday they made spaghetti with mixed seafood and sea bass in foil). Even the Ladin dinner was an insult to Trentino cuisine. The only plus point: a well-maintained spa with many activities. Oh, we paid 3€ for water at dinner (it was specified that drinks had an extra cost, but charging for tap water seems truly ridiculous given a total bill of more than 1000€).

A welcoming hotel in an enchanting natural setting. Comfortable rooms, very kind staff in all departments, always smiling and ready to help. Genuine and tasty but not heavy cuisine, an unforgettable Ladin dinner.

Nice hotel, services for adults and children very much appreciated, and excellent staff. Surrounded by nature. Daily excursions with hotel staff always ready to give you useful advice. Very well-prepared food, compliments.
