Excellent for: - Location - Room size - Cleanliness - Food - value for money The hotel is historic, which is different from "old" and is a historic asset. Everyone was kind and met every request with courtesy and professionalism, from the manager, dining room manager and chef, to the restaurant staff, who were careful not to burn the children running around (including mine) without ever getting flustered. The person who cleaned our rooms (we were on the second floor) was courteous and good. Good and abundant food. Speed of service (then if every guest takes the first course three times, it is normal for a line to form). The negative reviews had worried me, but personally I find no evidence of them.

We just returned from a week of vacation at this property with a group of families: in the center, not new but well-maintained, excellent value for money, good food, and large common areas... clean rooms, many with a balcony...

My boyfriend and I decided to book this hotel for the Weekend of August, from the photos it promised well being also a 4 star, but instead it did not go that way. the hotel is dated, 70s, very old, many services out of order, theater, spa, swimming pool, disco, all abandoned and stationary, yet on the site it says available. You can't even see the sign indicating the underground parking lot. Bad reception, we arrived and had to wait ten minutes because there was no one at reception, and also check in at 17, uncomfortable. Mid-August dinner embarrassing to say the least, it looked like a canteen, all buffet with immense queues, inedible food, typical of a canteen, but the rather embarrassing thing was that for disorganization of them, too many people and the lack of tables during dinner, fell on the guests and on us who had to share the table with unknown people and moreover all crowded, never seen such a thing, it seemed to me to be on separate jokes. The room all in all was also nice spacious with a nice view, but the bathroom was small, the ceiling ruined and full of mold, fridge bar not working, and on the towels we also found hair not ours, hotel not very clean. Even the old bar dated and very expensive. For a 4 star hotel we expected much more, it has nothing of a 4 star hotel. Quality price in the norm for the services it offers. Not recommended, we will never go back, yet it is a shame because such a large structure, if it were managed better would have Potential.
