Nice pizza, generous portions, lovely service and out standing lake front view It is a nice place to stop by but not to arrive especially for Don't have much more to write but it is required for the review, so I will say my boy ordered hamburger and it wasn't good but the pizza was nice

My husband, our infant, and I were sitting outside (lakefront) in this restaurant for breakfast. The lakefront area had open umbrellas and no signs indicating it is unavailable, so obviously we assumed it was open for customers. Then, a waiter screamed from a distance very rudely that they were closing and that we have to get up and leave. First of all, they were not closing down. They were just about to close only the area in which we were sitting. In any case, that was not our issue. We did not mind that the waiter said they were closing. Rather, it was the way in which he said it that was astonishingly rude. He screamed "hello hello" from a distance as if we were encroaching his private property. Then, when we turned around and spotted who was doing the screaming, he told us in broken English to leave. This was accompanied by a hand gesture indicating "time out". Additionally, since we noticed that the place was not actually closing, we asked him in Italian if we can sit in the area which was open and catering to other customers. The rude waiter first pretended not to hear us. Then he said "va bene" as if he is disgusted by our question. Please note that my husband is Italian, so it is not that we did not communicate well in Italian. So basically, this employee kind of sent us away in a very uncalled for rude manner. Since this was not the only place in the area which offered breakfast, we took our baby stroller and just went to another place where a polite, educated waiter took our order. Maybe Ancora can invest in waiters who received some form of training in interacting and communicating in a civil society. Between me and my husband, we have travelled and lived in 4 continents. This is the first experience of this kind that we have had. Living in Italy, we do intend to return to Garda in the future. Now we know that Ancora is a place to avoid.

We were a party of six. We were staying in Riva del Garda and decided to eat here one lunchtime. As the weather was good we sat outside, we could have sat inside or on the roof terrace. Service was good, and the food was ok.
