Excellent welcome and truly kind and professional staff. I really appreciated the helpfulness and the polite way in which the staff informed me that the handicapped parking space could not be used. Having a degenerative condition and being in possession of the regular permit, I had obviously made sure to display it. The gentleman was nevertheless very polite in explaining to me that, out of respect for the other guests, he would arrange to put one of their permits there. I really appreciated the way the situation was handled. The room was clean and overall very pleasant. A few details could be reviewed, such as the steel cart in the bathroom and the ceramic soap dish, which are now a bit dated. The sink also had a few stains, but otherwise I have nothing to report. Excellent bar service, with truly great cocktails and snacks. An absolute plus is the included bicycle service, which was highly appreciated and certainly an added value, as were the pool towels and the welcome kit. Excellent and very varied breakfast, truly provided with everything. The only small flaw, in my opinion, is the pool area. I would have found it more convenient to have the shower directly near the pool instead of near the bar. Furthermore, a bit of background music would make the environment more pleasant and relaxing. Overall, a very positive stay, thanks above all to the kindness of the staff, the quality of the services, and the excellent welcome.

We made a disappointment about 1 month, the price was high and drove the price down 2 days. This wasn’t nice at all—the early reset should be more affordable. I said maybe they would raise our room, yοu, on the contrary, they gave us a room with a view of retreat, testament..these mean never come back. These details were long and satisfying. The rooms were standard but clean. It was warm up. Breakfast was sourdough. They didn’t put flat croissants, they always filled buffets with the cherry. We’re already standing here, having breakfast and leaving the hotel, and everyone usually is. All to do is provide a good breakfast. I'm not sure if you'd like to recommend, uhh..

We were given a room overlooking some empty cardboard boxes/rubbish and when I asked if we could move we were offered a room overlooking the building site at the front of the hotel so we stayed in the first room we were offered. From then on the two oldish women who worked on reception looked at me as though they hated me, one even rolling her eyes when I went down to tell them the extracter in the bathroom wasn’t working ( which was never fixed).. We also mentioned that the fridge in the room was dirty and old, the maintenance guys response was to say ‘it’s working’. I can only assume he looked properly after that because the next thing we knew it was swapped out for a new fridge! The bar staff and the two men who worked on reception were really nice, they were always pleasant and friendly. Unfortunately the bar was understaffed so at times they were run ragged, there was only ever one member of staff working on the bar. Also, the hot water seems to go off at midnight and comes back on at 6am which isn’t ideal if you get up for a run or anything or if you have an early flight which we did, cold showers only before 6. The cleaners were brilliant, the whole hotel was spotless and the rooms were cleaned perfectly. Pool area and grounds are a great space for kids , just be aware there are lots of bees in the flowers in the grass. I don’t think I’d revisit this hotel, I’d go back to the hotel we usually go to, the Savoy Palace
