This hotel was a joy to stay in, with only a few downsides. I suppose the most significant of these was its location, which, although only 5 minutes walk from the lakeside, was about a 30 - 40 minute walk to the port and old town. Our room was nicely furnished with modern furniture , a balcony from which you could see the lake (just), a nice bathroom and shower, and air conditioning. The wardrobe space for hanging clothes was a little limited, though. The comprehensive breakfast in the ultra modern dining area was excellent with both hot and cold choice and as much coffee as you wanted. Perhaps the best praise of the Gabry should be for the staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble , and who were knowledgeable, professional, and always polite.

We had the most amazing holiday at hotel gabry. Our room was one of the dated ones that hadn’t had renovations however this did not dampen our holiday. The hotel was spotlessly clean, bed was soo comfortable & incredible views of the mountains & even a slight view of the lake. As others have mentioned the breakfast was outstanding. Better than breakfasts I’ve had at 5* hotels in the past! Staff were all so friendly. Loved every second and would come back again & again!
