Hotel Riviera

Didn’t want to write this review as it means sharing this hidden gem with others, but i cannot not share as others need to experience this place. It was clear with the easy check- in and personally taken to our room this was a family owned hotel that loved people. I want to start by saying the hotel actually exceeded all expectations, we booked a week b&b arriving late evening on 25th July 2026. The hotel sits 20 mins walk from old town of Riva but overlooks the lake and is across the road from Porto San Nicolo. We loved this area and the walk along the promenade every evening meant we worked off our fantastic meals 😉 The hotel has been done up to a high standard and the layout flows. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace overlooking the lake - view was surreal !!!! Buffet breakfast was of a very high standard and there was always a table on the terrace no matter what time in the morning. The room we had looked over the lake and was just perfect the decor was modern and very practical- mini fridge was filled daily with still and sparkling water and room was cleaned daily to a very very high standard- wifi was great everywhere and the cocktails were amazing. The pool is situated across the road access using room key and this was well used during the heatwave!!! There was always beds to be had and even the pool area was perfectly thought out. The downstairs toilet and changing area along with the self service mini bar was a 10/10. This is our first time in Riva and we could not fault this hotel one bit. It is situated on the main road through Riva so can be busy with traffic but great for sitting on you balcony people watching. We loved our time at Hotel Riveria and many thanks to the lovely owners for making our silver wedding anniversary trip perfect 🩶🩶

Have just returned from a weeks holiday staying at the hotel Riviera. This 3 star hotel is bright, modern and very clean. We stayed in one of the superior lake view rooms, which had plenty of storage, comfortable beds and great air conditioning. We ate in the hotel restaurant on one rainy evening. It offers a 4 course menu for a very reasonable 25 euros. The food was excellent. The breakfast is served on the 4th floor with beautiful views over the lake.A great selection of hot and cold items. The hotel has a great pool across the road set in a very pretty garden. There is an honesty bar , for drinks, toilets and a changing room. The only thing that is missing from the hotel is the option to buy lunch and snacks. However there is a bar and snack bar very close by, so no real problem. I highly recommend the hotel Riviera, and look forward to returning there soon.
