Villa Nicolli Romantic Resort

This Hotel was absolutely amazing, we stayed in a junior suite room 111 it was clean and had fabulous views of the mountains. Sylvia on reception was so helpful and polite on arrival, Bar Staff, Waiters,not forgetting the chefs in kitchen which prepared great breakfasts /lunches and the dinner menus was absolutely superb every evening, the housekeepers cleaned our room to a high standard every day, the indoor and outdoor swimming pool, along with the Spa area with Sauna, steam room, Salt room was so relaxing. On our last day the hotel opened the breakfast earlier so all who was leaving to go to the airport home, could have breakfast available. Here are some tips: 1. On arrival ask at reception for guest pass. 2. Do Funicular train up the mountain and ruin castle amazing views at the top and walk down only takes about 20mins. 3. Walk up to the Old Town Have a snack @ one on restaurants. 4. Museum 5. Climb Clock Tower 6. Take Ferry to Limone and Malcesine. 7. Early Morning Walks Every day near the Villa Nicolli Hotel. Great hotel. Super clean, great food (and good red wine!), lovely pool and indoor spa facilities. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The free bikes were great, and the eBikes really good value as they included hats and locks etc. All the guests were also really friendly, and sun loungers were easy to find around the pool or gardens. It is a few minutes walks to the water front, but the route passed a stream with a dipper and grey wagtails, and the gardens enroute were also a bonus. Not too far to a supermarket in either direction, and just a 5-10 minuite walk into the heart of the town itself. If revisiting, I would upgrade to larger room, purely for a larger shower, but whilst the shower space wasa little cramped, the power, temperature etc was all faultless. The aircon worked well and no noise problems when sleeping. Great for an adventure break, and I will miss the breakfast eggs and evening meals. Lots to do in the local area, from hiking to kayaking, plenty of sights to see.

Where do I start… another perfect holiday! ❤️ This was our 3rd time visiting, and somehow it just gets better and better. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed back with open arms, familiar friendly faces, and that wonderful feeling of being part of the family again. The hotel is absolutely amazing — from the beautiful rooms and stunning views to the pools, gardens, and spa. Everything is just perfect, and every member of staff goes above and beyond to make your stay special. The reception team were always so smiley, helpful, patient, and understanding. A special thank you to Enco, who helped me so much with hiring a bike. After having an operation earlier in the year, I was unsure of my capabilities and which bike would be right for me. Enco allowed me to try different bikes in the car park, offering advice, support, and reassurance without ever making me feel rushed or pressured. His understanding gave me the confidence and time to make the right decision for me. The housekeeping team were also fantastic, greeting us every day with a smile and keeping our room absolutely spotless. And last, but certainly not least, our wonderful and incredibly hard-working, conscientious Maître, Ignazio. Nothing is ever too much trouble for him. Once again, Ignazio completely put my mind at ease when it came to my dietary requirements as someone who is coeliac and lactose intolerant. He always makes me feel relaxed and comfortable, never singled out or made to feel different. Ignazio says, “It is my job,” but to me it is so much more than that. His care and attention allow me to relax, enjoy my meals, and ultimately enjoy my holiday so much more. A huge thank you also to all the chefs, who somehow manage to turn every meal on the menu into a delicious gluten-free and lactose-free delight for me. ❤️ So, to simply recap… I’ve had my own little piece of heaven for the last 10 days. ☀️❤️ Thank you to every single person who made our stay so special. We’ve made more wonderful memories and, as always, we’re already looking forward to coming back! 🥰
