Hotel with large, well-furnished rooms and recently renovated. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast with a wide choice of products.

Hotel in the center of Rovereto, a stone's throw from the civic museum, it also offers the Trentino Guest Card which allows free access to museums. The hotel is divided into two separate parts, so it is impossible to say if the rooms are all the same. Fairly clean hotel and kind staff, sufficient breakfast (obviously referring to a four-star hotel in the area, fantastic if compared to four-star hotels in other parts of Europe). The main negative aspect is the layout of the room, very large but with poorly managed spaces (closet practically non-existent), it seems that more attention was paid to design than to use. Furthermore, at times a smell came from the bathroom, probably a problem with a drain.

Excellent experience but... Excellent experience at the Hotel Leon d'Oro, Hotel in the center of Rovereto! As soon as you arrive, there are various free parking spaces where you can put your car, otherwise a private paid parking lot is available upon request. The hotel is very nice, and the rooms are too. Breakfast with various sweet and savory products, more sweet than savory, but still a wide selection. Outside, a large pool with a whirlpool and plenty of space to sunbathe and relax, and various tables available to enjoy a good aperitif. There is no restaurant inside the hotel, there is only bar service until late in the evening. However, there is the possibility of eating there, by ordering from outside, and at any time you can get drinks or alcohol without problems. The staff was all super kind and helpful, even in case of problems. I really appreciated the kindness and friendliness of Carlotta, the receptionist. Unfortunately I must say that there was a problem with the air conditioner in the room, which was not working well and for one night we slept poorly, but the next day they took steps to solve the problem and change the room, they were very helpful in trying to solve the problem that arose. Good cleanliness throughout the hotel, including the rooms, but... I think it is a beautiful hotel, with willingness to resolve unexpected issues, with areas where you can relax and enjoy a bit of relaxation. Everyone is very kind. But if I don't give 5 stars it's because I noticed a bit of a lack of care regarding cleanliness and some small defects in common areas or in the rooms. More in the pool area I noticed a bit of rudeness and lack of respect for the rules on the part of some guests, absolutely no fault of the hotel, but I hope they put someone there who occasionally checks and enforces the rules. I wish them the best in improving on these small defects which, however, take nothing away from the beauty of the place, and the fact that you can spend some beautiful vacations at **** stars. I absolutely recommend it, and I hope for improvements! 🙂 Will I go back? Maybe! It was a nice experience♥️
