Hotel Molveno

A beautiful accommodation, with an amazing view of the beautiful lake. Quietly located. Very friendly staff. Breakfast buffet with the option to eat outside on the beautiful terrace. A very delicious three-course culinary menu. Beautiful, clean room with terrace and view of the lake. Beautiful nature, walking around the lake, with a cable car up. Twenty minutes walk to the small, cozy village. Free bus service to the other villages. Beautiful swimming pool with the possibility to swim in the lake with a jetty. Water bikes, boats,... possibility to rent. Sufficient beds. Dogs allowed upon request.

Stayed here as part of a coach holiday. This was an exceptional experience. Perfect setting by a lake high up in the Dolomite mountains. Very quiet with beautiful surroundings. My single room was king sized, spacious and a balcony with a view. Certainly not the normal broom cupboard with the surcharge. There was a variety of choices for supper and a buffet breakfast. The hotel was spotless and well maintained. And the staff made you feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. The journey up the mountain to the hotel was a bit daunting. About 40 minutes from the main road with lots of hairpin bends. But the views were stunning. Grateful not to be driving! Didn't manage a dip in the outside pool but it looked inviting. There was a tennis court, too. You're in for a treat if you visit this hotel.

We were on holiday in the Dolomites in August with the motorcycle. We went to Lake Molveno for the first time and had booked at Grand Hotel Molveno. We were warmly welcomed by the owner and shown around. We could still book a table for dinner. This later turned out to be the half board dinner of 4 courses and tasted delicious. We only used this half board for all four days. The hotel's location is about 2 km outside Molveno, quiet but beautifully situated by the lake. The restaurant, as well as the terrace and breakfast room, have a view of the lake. This is truly breathtaking. There is also a heated pool located very nicely by the lake. There are beds on it. We did not use the swimming pool. We also didn't swim in the lake. This is quite a challenge given the pebbles and cobbles. In short, this hotel exceeded all our expectations.
