Dolomiti Chalet Family

I stayed for one night with my family. Upon our arrival, no one was present at the reception. The room was spacious but not at the peak of cleanliness. At dinner, a decent appetizer, but the first and second courses definitely need to be rethought. Breakfast was standard. Staff mostly unprepared. They charged my deposit twice and, despite having reported the problem immediately, a week later they still haven't returned my money. Just one phone call to try to patch things up by saying they would do the necessary checks (even though I sent them my bank statement with the double charge clearly visible) and then nothing. They don't even respond to messages. The only positive thing about the stay was the possibility for our dog to go into the dining room with us.

The staff is very polite but unfortunately the food is not swallowed (in a lasagna there was plastic) The rooms are small, the radiators do not work. The only luck is that they have the slopes next to the hotel and is ideal for those who want to ski

Every year we like to spend a few days in Vason to ski. We like to change every time to discover new structures and this time the choice, despite us, happened on the Dolomiti Chalet. Probably we chose the wrong period where almost all foreigners were present in the structure, but..... Nothing to say about the structure, which despite being a bit 'dated and deserves a restyling is beautiful, unfortunately it's everything else that is wrong! Let's start with breakfast: I can not go down at 08 in the morning and find nothing and find in the staff room that does not know what to answer (just think that we asked if the eggs were still coming out three times and I never arrived), the juice was stretched with water (complaint this also exposed to the staff at check-out) and hearing the opinion of other people in the room we were not the only ones who thought so Dinner: the vegetable buffet included salad corn tomatoes and red turnips and that's it while the dessert and fruit buffet included chopped fruit and a couple of types of dessert that if they ran out you would not find anymore. The dinner menu was little varied: choice between two appetizers, two first courses and two main courses with scarce portions. The bar service then was absent coffee we asked the reception staff! The rooms were not bad only problem a mega crack on the door that let the light through (we put towel stuck to get dark) and the mattresses too soft. Without a wellness area, if you wanted to go to the pool you had to go to another hotel affiliated with them Unfortunately seen all the other facilities we tried in Vason in this we will definitely not be back and I repeat it is a shame because with some precautions and extra attention could improve a lot
