Sporthotel Tyrol & Wellness

You feel like you are at your own home, free to move around with serenity and tranquility. All the staff are friendly and kind. I must say that at the end of the season it is not always a given... all the young people who make sacrifices far from home. Excellent food prepared with care and every evening a truly classy menu. Compliments to everyone and keep up the good work.

We were highly satisfied with our stay at Hotel Il Tyrol. The service from the staff was top-notch. Everyone takes such charming care of every single guest. The food was superb. The quality of the food was absolutely high-end and very deliciously prepared. At dinner, you could choose from various appetizers and main courses each time. In addition, there was salad and soup from the buffet or sometimes a Tyrolean appetizer platter with various cold cuts and cheeses. There was also always fresh fruit and/or dessert. The location of the hotel is very central. You just walk out the door and are directly in the small town of Innichen. We really liked the flair of the town. Despite the central location, there is never a problem with parking. The hotel has a very large underground garage that also offers the possibility to park and charge e-bikes. Furthermore, there are also some parking spaces outside in front of the hotel. The building itself is lovingly decorated with some antiques from past eras and the history of the house. That makes it really cozy. The reception staff are very friendly and super helpful. We can only highly recommend Hotel Il Tyrol.

My wife and I stayed at the Il Tyrol for the first five nights of our eight night Dolomites trip in September 2026 and would highly recommend the hotel to others in future. The hotel was not only located with essentially zero walk into town for afternoon refreshments, but also gave great links to the surrounding sights of the region, with reasonable driving distance to Tre Cime, Cinque Torre and Lago Di Braise/Prato Piazza. Being part of the sustainable hotels of the region, the hotel also provided the Sudtirol Guest Pass that gave us free access to the bus system that also let us eaily day trip out to Mount Helm when the car was not needed and could be safely stored in the complimentary underground parking garage. The hotel and room itself was very comfortable, and my wife and I enjoyed sitting after dinner for a game of chess followed by drinks in the bar. Dinner itself was also very good in terms of quality of the food and the variety night to night, with enough menu choices to always ensure there was something for you, and pleasant waiter staff. Breakfast was buffet with plenty of choice. A nice touch w also really appreciated the set table for the duration of your stay to help make you feel more welcome and at home. We didnt use the spa treatments, but did appreciate the hot tub and pool after long day of walking, although personally would have preferred if both were a bit hotter but that would be our only minor quibble of our stay. Overall we would recommend this hotel to others and consider it again in future ourselves if we were to revisit the area.
