Relais Villa Petrischio

We drove around for hours trying to find this place. No one seemed to know where it was and it didn't come up on our GPS. We finally found it and the lady told us that we should have been there sooner as she was trying to leave and we were her last check in. She was not that friendly and made us feel like we were putting her out. The stay was antiquate but not a recommended staying place. Way out in the country with nothing around. About 30 minutes from the city of Cortona.

This is a beautiful property with multiple buildings dotted the property. I stayed at the main building, which was lovely restored and the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The entrance into the property is lined with beautiful cypress trees, like a postcard perfect Tuscany picture. There is a dinning room and also a great pool that overlooks the valley under. They also host parties and weddings, so you may run into unexpected events. The dinning room also doubles as breakfast room with nice buffet breakfast and also serves tasty dinner for very reasonable price.

Couldn't of wished for nicer surroundings, approach to the villa is stunning along with the view from the restaurant and rooms. Though we did not have dinner here breakfast was good even though the bread was a little hard. Lots to do in the area and it only took an hour to drive to Florence. Would recommend for a long weekend.
