Agriturismo Podere Fornaci

I highly recommend Podere Fornaci. I spent a week with my family there. Everything about this place is wonderful- the apt, breathtaking views, the pool, friendly hosts. One thing must be taken into consideration- to reach the place you need a car abd there is wuite a way to take from Asciano on a steep, dirt road.

If you are looking for quite peaceful holiday what Agriturismo usually offers , this is not the place.all appartements are located on first floor with shared corridor with no private place to seat or eat unless you want to go down on shared terasse 100 times a day. Guests had all opened apparetements so you even if you dont want to,have to see walking man in slips, you smell what they eat, you hear all they say. So as said absolute lack of privacy. We paid cancellation fee and left the place.

We toured Italy this summer and went to some amazing places but we finished with a 3 night stop in Podere Fornaci and found heaven on earth. It was so peaceful and so beautiful. An amazing apartment with fantastic facilities. There are 360 panoramic views you just don't know where to look. The owners were friendly and helpful. The property was a good 6km from a tarmacced road in either direction which added to its appeal. However it is in a good location for Siena and the southern Tuscan towns of Pienza and Montepulciano. I would stay here again on a heart beat. We stayed in summer and although remote I would imagine it would be great especially in Autumn and Spring.
