Fattoria di Bacchereto - Guest House

You must go here! We have been to many wineries in Tuscany and this is one you shouldn’t miss. The owner, Rosella, is such a wonderful person and the wines are amazing. We went on a private tour with Tuscany Uncorked where we had an authentic Tuscan lunch while we tasted the amazing wines and Vin Santo. We also had a nice tour and got to meet the two adorable dogs.

We approached the site uncertain that we had found the right place, but soon connected with Rosella for a tour and tasting that was relaxing, informative, and just right. If you want to avoid a glitzy, overly commercialized winery experience, go here. Relax first in the garden, then enjoy the cool atmosphere inside the historic facility.

My husband and I booked a wine tour out of Florence and had the amazing opportunity to meet Marco the winemaker and the fabulous host, Alberto. Visiting this beautiful property was the best way to kick start out trip in Italy and we will always remember the wonderful people in our group and the people at the property. Of course the bruschetta & wine was fantastic! I would have loved to bring home one of the puppies frolicking in the gorgeous garden. The grounds were so beautiful, it was truly out of a story book!
