Hotel Alta la Vista

Overall positive experience. Strong points: the hotel's location directly on the beach and the kindness of the staff. Only downsides: the parking in the pine forest more than 10 minutes on foot from the hotel (paid, but guarded) and the partner beach which is not the one in front. In fact, we booked at Bagni La Zattera, which are the ones seen in the photo and are right in front of the hotel. The suite for 4 people is beautiful, aside from the very narrow bathroom, but at least it has a window.

We stayed for one night, between May 9 and 10, 2026, in room 104, at this hotel located in the heart of Marina di Castagneto Carducci. Everything was truly perfect, a small but functional room, the only minor note being the shower cabin in the bathroom which has a sliding door that does not slide well and the shower head that is slightly clogged; otherwise, the bed was very comfortable, the view from the room was spectacular, and there was a huge terrace where one can sunbathe and relax. Excellent cleanliness both in the room and in the common areas. Elevator to go up. Breakfast with plenty of both sweet and savory options and a kind waitress, although she was very busy as she was the only one serving the dining area. Finally, the receptionists were truly kind and helpful, the blonde lady who checked us in and out was really great and understanding..THANK YOU! All of this for €140 per night. Parking available in the area. Go there and you will have a great time!
