Absolutely amazing experience, favorite part was visiting the goats in the AM when they were being milked, and the amazing food. The family is so kind and wants you to feel at home in their home. You can tell they love sharing their culture. This is a unique experience that you won’t want to miss! Stay for 3 nights or so :) The pool was refreshing and the apartments very comfortable.

YOUR SEARCH IS OVER! If you are looking for incredible views, delicious food, fantastic service, superior attention to detail, and a place that is very well located to make travel hassle free, you have found your needle in the haystack. Borgo Mocale is a real unicorn. Cleanliness: The entire place is completely spotless. Every day we came back from breakfast to an immaculate room. Service: Wow! I did not expect this level of hospitality. Even the Leading Hotels of the World could learn from Borgo Mocale. You are welcomed like treasured friends and spoiled like VIPs. Exceptional! Experience: The website does not do Borgo Mocale justice. No pictures or words really could. The property is vast and tranquil. Breathtaking walking trails lead you up the mountain amongst olive trees and past the baby goats and friendly donkey. The bridge over the creek is one of the most beautiful spots imaginable. My picture obsessed teenagers were frequently heard stating that they couldn’t capture the real beauty of the place and you all know how many pictures teenagers take!! Food: The breakfast is vast and delicious! A mixture of farm fresh food and the staples, like cereal. The outside balcony offers breaktaking views to enjoy with every bite. We also enjoyed the most delicious dinner with house wine. As we watched the sunset over the mountain taking bites of exquisite cuisine, we truly felt like we were dropped in paradise. Location: If you’re looking to do some day trips, Giulio has all the secret spots to share with you. Way better than any guide book that everyone else has! It’s 15ish minutes off the main highway making Rome and Florence easily accessible, along with any other day trips you may wish to make. BUT, I would recommend you also spend time to truly enjoy all that Borgo Mocale has to offer. You don’t have to keep searching. You have found a place to make beautiful memories to last a lifetime. Enjoy! - The Merino Family (2 adults and 2 picky teenagers who loved it here)

This 15-day stay at the agritourism was for us a magnificent discovery in every way: very warm, cultured and perfectly organized hosts. It’s a family business made up of Pino (the dad), Antonella (the mom, who cooks, an inexhaustible source of information) and Giulio (the son who manages the business). They are supported by loyal, efficient staff who are also very smiling. Borgo Mocale is located around 480 m from sea level, in the mountains, surrounded by olive trees (they are producers), you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley. The agritourism website perfectly describes what you will find there. 3 X/week Antonella concocts typical dishes of the region, with local products and upon prior reservation. Private concerts are organized once a week in the music room. Two things must be said, the Borgo Mocale is not a hotel therefore no 24/7 reception, and clearly indicated opening times. Furthermore, we are in the mountains and if there is private parking, it is below and there are a significant number of steps to climb to reach reception. Through this comment we thank them again for everything.
