La Ferriera Residence

Very nice holiday spot, but note: this is not a hotel (not for a while). The original website is also not representative of the facilities that still exist today. There is no restaurant, room service etc. at the location. Summer 2026 there will be a fantastic manager on site who will do everything possible to compensate for any shortcomings and adjustable expectations in a positive way. Several apartments with simple (basic) facilities in the complex are rented separately. So no dishwasher, oven or air conditioning in the cozy, atmospheric, but also outdated apartments. Beds are very nice. Nice (highly outdated) pool on site with fantastic views! High summer you have to take into account a lot of (noisy) visitors, mostly local and also tourists, to the public swimming place directly at the complex. Delicious cooling river water with waterfall (little) and beautiful swimming, diving and splashing opportunities.

Stay as pleasant as ever in La Ferriera This is our second stay in this charming hotel in an idyllic setting, nestled by the river and very close to the beautiful village of Loro Ciuffenna. The apartment is spacious, authentic and well located to discover Tuscany. Little regret: the restaurant, of which we had an excellent memory, is no longer open. Despite this, we leave with beautiful memories.

I am absolutely not satisfied with my experience bedroom without abat jour on the bedside table only a central light bathroom with the door without key imagine 5 people who each time have to ask if the bathroom is free the living room without fan so it is impossible to stay there
