La Fornace di San Galgano

We spent a couple weeks in Tuscany during June. La Fornace was our base, from which enjoyed the food, wine, history, and Tuscan atmosphere. Stefano was the perfect host for our stay at his agriturismo property. Highly Recommend. Thank you.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at La Fornace Di San Galgano. Stefano and Luisa were very kind and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Our apartment was sparkling clean and very spacious with an outside gazebo, the kitchen was fully stocked. The fridge was stocked with wide variety of breakfast foods (eggs, milk, juice, cheese, yogurt, butter, salami), we were also welcomed with a bottle of delicious wine and a huge tray of sweet goods! Stefano Mom’s homemade cakes and peach preserve were delicious and were especially appreciated! Fresh bread was delivered every morning and we were able to replenish breakfast items as needed. The location was super convenient to visit Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Val D’Orcha and many other must see towns, the beach was also an hour away. Stefano gave us tons of valuable recommendations for the places to visit, we even went swimming in the river(20 min away), which our kids loved! The Agriturismo is beautiful, surrounded by olive trees, the views of Tuscany around are breathtaking, the pool is big and clean, it was very interesting to learn the history of this place, you can tell how passionate the owners are about this place in all the details they put into it. It was our favourite place to stay in Tuscany and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you so much for having us! We highly recommend La Fornace Di San Galgano!

Fantastic place to stay if you're looking to explore the Tuscan countryside. Hosts are so lovely and helpful, and the rooms are self contained, spacious and unique! Thanks Stefano and Luisa 🫶🍷
