La Torre ai Mari

We stayed in this splendid accommodation with another couple of friends and my 3 little dogs. The place is truly beautiful and the property is wonderful. Immersed in greenery and absolute peace. Our room, number 13, was quite spacious and equipped with all the comforts. Excellent breakfast. The owner is a very kind and helpful person. He suggested a lot of places where we could go for dinner and that we could visit. We will be back soon!

I must premise that visiting the Val d'Orcia at the end of July is probably not the most suitable time due to the heat. In fact, we did not find many tourists or traffic of any kind. The hotel is located near Sarteano, an ideal strategic point for touring these wonderful places that are truly a beautiful dive into the past. In the week we were there, it was ONLY us, and in fact, we enjoyed the wonderful pool all to ourselves in the afternoons when we returned from our excursions. Beautiful. Spotless hotel. The owner was always very kind and courteous to us. The breakfast cakes were truly excellent. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the valley. And, if you like, you can eat on the terrace. Ideal place for those who, like us, were looking for silence and tranquility. We highly recommend it.

Lovely place surrounded by nature and very quiet to get away from the daily routine. Cottage very cozy and very clean both externally and in the rooms. A plus the pool. Friendliness and excellent hospitality from the owners. Definitely will return and highly recommend it.
