Le Radici Natura Benessere

I went here back in 1999 and 2000 and have never forgotten it, in fact my daughter was conceived here and we took her back the following year when she was three months old. I was looking at going back again and had a look at the reviews and it appears its run by the same guys as when we were there. I agree with everyone, the food is the best you could ever hope to eat and the boys make the stay truly special ! I cannot wait to book again, I am tingling with excitement.

I'm not sure where to start because I want to give Alfredo and Le Radici the credit they fully deserve. We were fortunate enough to arrive in the very late season (early October) and had the entire place to ourselves. From the moment we got there it was nothing but hospitality and balanced attention. The first night we arrived Alfredo made us an amazing lemon cake after the best meal we have eaten in Italy- an incredibly flavorful zucchini pasta, a veal that tasted like Christmas morning and some wonderful filled croissants to start it off. One of the first things that Alfredo said to us when we arrived was "There is no time in Le Radici." I tend to agree. We felt no rush as we soaked in the beautiful views of a Medieval castle on the next property over, photographed the fog rolling over the Tuscan hills in the distance and came and went as we pleased. On the second day of our stay we met some extremely friendly Americans in town and we had an idea to invite them to dinner that night. Calling Alfredo at 2:30pm with 3 new unexpected guests for dinner tonight was no problem. He accommodated them and made a dinner that was equally plentiful in taste- tender pork with apple, the best lasagna I have ever tasted in my life, and amazing vegetables from the garden. If you are reading this and seriously considering a stay, please take my advice and experience this respite for yourself. It is a unique experience with an incredibly friendly and accommodating host that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Tuscany region.

The most beautiful and relaxing place in the wide area. (I would say of the world, but then nobody believes me). Coming here for 12 years and Alfredo is always making us feel at home. The food alone would be a reason to stay here because that is of a very high standard, but also the rooms and the area are top class and make Le Radici as our favorite place to stay. T & B
