We stayed in this splendid B&B managed optimally by the great Dario and I must say that everything was truly perfect. Amazing atmosphere, very large and clean room, comfortable beds and a large, well-stocked bathroom. Optimal location for those like us who want to spend one day at the beach, one day at Pinocchio Park, and one at the Pistoia Zoo. Excellent value for money, also equipped with a pool. Highly recommended.

Four days at the Castello di San Gennaro was a truly enchanting experience. The property is immersed in the greenery of the Lucca countryside, situated inside a wonderful little village that seems suspended in time. The welcome at this B&B was impeccable thanks to Dario, the host: an extremely helpful and highly professional person who never spares himself in giving you all his help and is ready to offer the most useful tips for organizing visits to nearby cities like Lucca, Pisa, and Florence as well as possible. The rooms are very comfortable, furnished in the classic rustic Tuscan style that we particularly love. To complete the stay, a rich and abundant breakfast, perfect for satisfying every taste thanks to a splendid variety of both sweet and savory options, and what about the pool, a godsend in the evening upon returning tired from daily excursions. We will definitely be back!

This place is incredible. We arrived for the first time 14 years ago as strangers and immediately became friends. This year was our fourth time back and now we’re like family. We can’t say enough about Dario and his hospitality. He is the most gracious, informative and accommodating host!! The B&B is absolutely stunning, situated in the hills overlooking the olive trees and towns below. You can see for miles. If you’re looking for an authentic Tuscan experience, look no further. Book this place and relax and explore! Oh, and the pool and garden bar are a nice addition also! Thank you, Dario, for another amazing stay. Until next time …
