Tenuta San Vito

Location in perfect Tuscan countryside style. Delicious food. Impeccable staff and service. Top-notch.

My husband and I are staying in Polignano a Mare and had a free afternoon. We messaged the Estate and they were able to accommodate us for a private tasting. What an experience!! We tasted great wine and beautiful food made on site. It was both relaxed and fun and my highlight of the trip so far. Great portions of food and wine and Elena was so passionate about the product it made it even more special. We would definitely recommend a visit.

My wife and I visited on a Sunday afternoon for a wine tasting and lunch. It was a beautiful and picturesque restaurant/winery located in the hills outside of Florence. The location is peaceful and historic and owned by the same family for decades. There is also a hotel on the property which we did not stay at. We sampled five different wines, including a sparking wine and a rose' wine as well as their olive oil. Being educated on how they grew the grapes and how each bottle was made was priceless. All of the wines were excellent and we purchased six bottles to send home. The light lunch was a full lunch, which we were not complaining about. The large antipasto dish to start and the pasta dish that followed was delicious. Let's not forget about the biscotti and dessert wine after the meal. Really a great experience. We had the pleasure of sitting on their back deck on a day that was 68 degrees and sunny. Beautiful scenery and all you heard were the birds chirping. Our hostess was a lovely woman who knew her wines and represented this family well. She was warm and made us feel like we were part of their family. This visit was part of a private tour we had scheduled so I am not aware of the cost. However, the cost of the wines were very reasonable to purchase and ship. I would highly recommend this restaurant/winery.
