Borgo Sicelle

The place is simply beautiful! The welcome of the "innkeepers" , the quality and cleanliness of the facilities and the views of the surrounding valleys make this place a perfect place to explore Tuscany. However, it is necessary to have a means of transport to make the most of it.

We had a really wonderful vacation at Borgo Sicelle. The place is very beautiful placed on a hilltop with a beautiful and stunning view overlooking the wine yards and olive trees. The place is calm, well kept and very charming in classic Tuscan style. The pool is really nice and clean. The apartment was nice and clean. Franco, the host, is really nice and very helpful. There a many beautiful places to visit nearby; charming old villages and towns, restaurants and wine yards.. We would love to come back.

We stayed at Borgo Sicelle for two weeks and loved every minute of it. The friendly owners are always around to help or give advice, bring maps etc. They even bought delicious pastries for my husbands 50th birthday! The view from the terrace/swimming pool is simply stunning. Our teenagers loved the place as well. The two bedroom appartement with two bathrooms at the ground floor was a good choice. Spacious and clean, thick walls and airconditioning for the hottest days. A dishwasher, bbq, washing machine, percolator, lots of towels: everything you could wish for in an appartement has been taken care of. We could use the (free) electricity at the large car park of Borgo Sicelle to homecharge our Tesla. The area of Chianti is great for cycling, walking, sightseeing and of course eating & drinking. The restaurant opposite of the road is a great place as well. Don’t forget to eat pizza in charming San Donato in Poggio. Florence and Siena are at an easy 45-minute drive.
