Locanda le Piazze

Another great stay at Locanda and never fails to exceed expectations. Wonderful caring and attentive staff. Tranquility and calm throughout. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary experiences at the spa and the ‘Sip & Paint’ experience! This time we visited at the start of Sept when the extreme heat had subsided a little, which was welcome. As usual lovely day visits to San Gim, Castellini and Rada. We’ll be back for sure!

We were here during our honeymoon and were well taken care of in every way. The accommodation is in a very idyllic location. A beautiful old house that has been very stylishly furnished and partially modernized without losing its charm. We were welcomed very nicely and received a bottle of local sparkling wine as a honeymoon gift, as well as a complimentary 20-minute facial treatment. Very attentive and generous. The facial treatment was great! At the reception, you get great recommendations for restaurants, activities, etc. They are very helpful. For a fee, we were also able to have laundry washed here that had accumulated during our trip so far. There is a very small fitness center with a breathtaking view. You can relax well by the pool, and you can order small snacks and drinks by phone and have them charged to your room. Great service with delicious food! The breakfast is also really good! The staff is super friendly! You really feel comfortable here and can truly switch off. There is the option to rent bicycles or participate in yoga classes. What you should know: You need a car to reach restaurants or to be able to drive anywhere. The accommodation is rather remote. But you can reach good restaurants in about 10-15 minutes by car!

Dreamy days in Tuscany We had dreamy days at Locanda Le Piazze – a beautiful hotel in the middle of the enchanting Chianti landscape. The entire property is extremely well-maintained and designed with great attention to detail. Just the first view over the Tuscan hills lets you take a deep breath. We were particularly impressed by the pool with its breathtaking view over the Chianti. Added to that is an attentive pool service that makes the stay even more relaxing. The peace and quiet, the beautiful landscape, and the spectacular sunsets make this place something very special. The rooms are also very nice, modern, and still quite new; everything looks fresh and extremely well-maintained. You can tell everywhere that a lot of value is placed on details. An absolute highlight is the breakfast: fantastic, with a great selection and many homemade delicacies. The homemade tarts and quiches in particular were great – that is how a day in Tuscany begins perfectly! And of course the restaurant Tavola di Guido – a real highlight of our stay. The cuisine is fantastic and wonderfully combines the farm-to-table concept with seasonal, authentic Tuscan cuisine. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the love for the product in every dish. Added to that is the dreamlike atmosphere of the restaurant: The view sweeps over the olive trees far into the beautiful hilly landscape of Chianti. A breathtaking backdrop that makes both dinner and breakfast a special experience. The location in Castellina in Chianti is simply perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy Tuscany in peace. Breathtaking views, beautiful sunsets, and a wonderful atmosphere in which you can immediately relax. The nearby Castellina in Chianti, only about a ten-minute drive from the hotel, is also definitely worth a visit – a beautiful, charming town with typical Tuscan flair that perfectly invites you to stroll through the small alleys and enjoy the special atmosphere of Chianti. A place to arrive, enjoy, and return to.
