Hotel Il Pietreto

Ideal hotel to disconnect from the routine and relax, immersed in the hills of the Val d'Elsa Excellent restaurant quality for dinner and breakfast, everything homemade! Pool definitely a plus, perhaps it should be kept cleaner but a great compromise for someone who wants to visit one of the many nearby villages and then relax in the pool upon returning. Zero parking problems, rooms very cool since everything is stone, a bit dated but pleasant, the only defect is the bathroom, very much in need of renovation. Attention to ecological impact, good water dispensers to avoid plastic but the room towel change every 3 days is a bit excessive (we arrived on Tuesday and used the same ones until Friday) unless you pay per person to have it every day. Friendly staff, in general a good experience with very reasonable costs for half board.

We had a great time. Unfortunately, we hit the hottest week of the year. But the rooms are comfortable. With air conditioning and the pool, a godsend for cooling off. We also had a very good dinner.

Ideal place to relax, immersed in nature, but not too isolated. The rooms are clean, spacious, and furnished in line with the property. The outdoor pergola under which you eat in the summer is truly beautiful. There are a few details to fix, but the welcome that is reserved for guests and the relaxation you immerse yourself in make you experience a vacation that you will remember with pleasure. We will definitely return.
