Residenza San Leo

Having seen the photos online I decided to book this farmhouse to spend a few days with my family. Reading the reviews I was excited to arrive. Apartment dated, but clean. Large, with kitchen area, two bedrooms, bathroom and sitting room. very large terrace. I understand that the structure which appears historic must maintain its characteristics and therefore no work can be done on the walls, but the curtain on the shower cubicle in 2023 is really not, it is not hygienic. The toilet paper had to be placed on the floor since the roll holder was broken (a 5 euro cent screw was enough to fix it. There is a sink in the anteroom, but no hook for the towels that I hung above the wall-mounted hairdryer. In three days the bin had not been emptied nor the towels replaced. There were a few sachets of shampoo and body cream available, but there was no soap so I went to the supermarket to buy it. Not even the breakfast was up to par considering the price of the overnight stay. Friendly waitresses, but product quality, presentation and hygiene need to be reviewed. Fantastic pool area.

I cannot believe the property here - the vistas - the hospitality of the host and the amazing food we had - breakfast was fantastic - imagine individual pans of eggs, creamy eggs, followed by pastries, homemade crumbles. Lemons galore on property! Infinity pool spotlessly clean ! Grounds to walk and comfortable beds. The assistants on property for meals like Sabrina were so attentive! We bought all the toiletries that were supplied in the units because they are really beautiful. It took a while to get used to the internet connectivity issues but once you understand the hot spots - you are all set. i miss San Leo every day not there!

San Leo is gorgeous and relaxing. Patrizia is a lovely hostess and wonderful cook. They have kept the history/architecture of the farm but the apartments are modern and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay there and hope to go back.
