Alloro

Friendliness and cleanliness are the highlight, beautiful room, pamper the outdoor garden. Super breakfast from sweet to savory, bread and yogurt made by them! We will definitely be back!! Congratulations then staff!

Very bad hotel Terrible hotel experience. They scammed us. After we booked through Booking.com, they charged us the full amount. We asked to change the room because there was a door with metal bars inside the room, which was very disturbing. They refused and claimed that we never even checked into the hotel, yet still took the full payment. Very bad experience. DONT BOOK IN THIS HOTEL We cancelled our reservation and spoke directly with the staff member at the hotel on the first day. We explained the issue, and he agreed that we could pay for one night only and receive a refund for the remaining nights. Based on this agreement, we left the hotel the same day. However, on the following day, this agreement was suddenly refused. Booking.com also contacted the hotel, but unfortunately the hotel still declined the refund. Yesterday as well, our request was rejected again. We understand that you may deduct the cost of one night, as originally agreed, but charging the full amount is not acceptable, especially since we did not stay at the hotel. We kindly request that you honor the initial agreement and refund the remaining amount.

We only stayed at the Alloro for one night during our brief stop in Florence, but we wished it could have been longer. The hotel is tucked away on a narrow side street in the city center—a little quirky, full of character and utterly charming. Our room was huge and gorgeously decorated, the bathroom spotless. Breakfast is included—pastries, yogurt, fruit, cheese, juices, coffee. We loved the location, just a few blocks from the Duomo, and we were able to walk to and from the train station. We also greatly appreciated the hotel's recommendation for a private Uffizi guide, Ulisse, who was extremely knowledgeable and greatly enhanced our visit. Highly recommend!
