Antella Residence

We rented two bedroom apartment. We loved the place. A quiet spot, at the top of a short, not too steep hill in Antella. Facilities in the apartment are very good quality, look like new. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. Spa like bathroom. There was a balcony and the view was beautiful. The apartment was huge! Very nice place to spend more than one day

What a wonderful retreat - quiet but not so far out of Florence. A very handy public bus service gets you in to town within 35 minutes. The apartments are beautiful, spacious and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped, with a supermarket and many specialty shops in walking distance. Great oven. The bathroom was very clean and all apartments have very big windows with great countryside views. Staff were warm and very helpful. Coffee machine operates 24 hours!

• Location wasn’t far from the bus station in Antella, although it is a bit of a steep walk up to the residence (approx. 100m). Note Antella town is approx. 1 hour bus ride from Florence. It is very close to the grocery store (co-op) and all the small local bakeries, butchery etc all located by the local church/primary bus stop. • The ‘apartment’ was massive for just the two of us, but the hotel was more designed for longer stays so very comfortable. It contained everything you need like a kitchen, lounge, terrace, and even a washing machine/clothes line. • The apartment was very modern (built early 2011) and tastefully decorated. The view over the hills was lovely from the apartment, although we could also look down into the neighbour’s back yard. • The hotel manager (Francesca?) and cleaner were both very lovely and accommodating. • Note it’s not a hotel so you won’t have access to a 24/7 reception, however Francesca did provide a cellphone number so you could call if you needed to.
