I stayed in this hotel in august and it was horrible. the rooms so dated with the leaking air-con unit. We had a flood in the room and i have asked for this to be sorted out, and they only switch this of so no air-con at all. The carpet was soaked and stinky but nobody taken it out from the room . very noisy as there is student house adjacent to the building. I had external bathroom ad it was horrible, old dated. Breakfast was a coffee and croissant with bit of chocolaty spread on top, and few bits of bread with small butter only . In the country having best coffee this was the worst coffee i ever had. After 1st breakfast i didn't bother to even go there again , preferred cafe next door. Overall very bad , very dark and depressing. I cant say 1 good think about the place.

We were in this hotel on Sunday Easter. We came to breakfast in festive mood and congratulated the lady which worked there. But instead of Easter entertainment she said us not to take apples with us. All the time we had our meal she stood by the door and looked at us, that we would not take a food with us. Never in our life we had so disgusting Easter breakfast !!! We check-out and left our luggage in the hotel's storage. After a beautiful day spent in Florence we returned back to take our luggage. When we asked the man in reception where is toilet for hotel guests he answered, that they don´t have a such toilet. I was very angry, because earlier in the morning we saw a toilet on the second floor, but the man didn´t allowed us to use it. When I said him that first time in my life I´m in a hotel without toilet for guests he named me 'cretino'.

I stayed here with my mum since it was her birthday. She had not been to Florence since 2009 and since her Anglo - Italian husband had died .this was a family reunion holiday with sightseeing too . I was told the breakfast was good .no ! Sugary cheap juice out of carton, only plan biscuits and 1 dry croissant with option of cappuccino or tea. Can't ask for more.its limited. Was told have to be out of my room before 11 am to get cleaned. No please or thank you. no telephone in rooms . When friends and family left messages at hotel ...We were not told about it . Old and tired hotel . No lift . No English speaking tv channels. Very loud and impolite male owner . Erratic temperament. The woman was kind and friendly. The room was clean and got good shower ...but very limited toiletries. Just 1 tiny shower gel. Always got bitten by mosquitoes in room.hotel has large dog in reception but was nice .it was too expensive for very little with bad attitude. No again !
