We had a wonderful stay here! The owners are so kind, and truly went above and beyond! Our room was huge, everything was spotless upon arrival, and it had everything we could need. It came equipped with a fridge, hair dryer, desk, closet, safe, sitting area, and balcony! It was 100 degrees when we were there, but the AC was great! The place itself is directly near the duomo, so perfect for people looking to have a very close stay to all there is to do! It was very quiet at night in the B&B itself and we had no issue with street noise as well. They do service the rooms daily and provide shampoo/body wash and soap! They also have water and a whole kitchen area with coffee, tea, and plenty of space. The owners even helped me with booking a Taxi at 4:30 am for our flight. We will most definitely be back to stay here again and will recommend to anyone in the future!

Excellent location, literally on top of the Duomo. (You will hear the Duomo bell starting at 7am daily.) That’s where the positives end. I stayed in mid July for a week, solo. For the first 3 nights, the ac was broken, and it became so unbearable that I went hotel “shopping” on day 3. The last 2 days had no hot water, and when I reported to the owner, he didn’t believe me, because nobody else was complaining. Maybe nobody felt like communicating with him or maybe something was just wrong with my unit! The building elevator was also broken for the last 4 nights.
BEWARE: I stayed in room 6, which is right next to “Private” room. The maintenance man, who you will hardly ever see, appears to secretly live there. It’s super creepy and weird because I would constantly hear the Alessandro, the owner, complaining about me to the maintenance worker. Some of the complaints: I drink too much! That one is hilarious because I was sometimes carrying a non-alcoholic SLUSHY cup. The owner was also complaining that I’m always bothering him. Having no AC in 100 degree weather is not acceptable. I’ve also overheard Alessandro asking the maintenance worker if he thinks I should be welcome back there in the future. I would possibly return for free, I would never pay to stay there!!! The maintenance worker was actually defending me, saying that anyone would be complaining during a heat wave with no AC! Good riddance.
If you do decide to book a room here, the maintenance worker is checking up or “spying” on the guests, as per Alessandro's request. I strongly recommend booking a room away from the “Private” room, choose rooms 1, 2 , and 3.
I’ve traveled for 2 months, all over Tuscany , Portugal and Germany. This was the only hotel or guesthouse that did not meet or even come close to my expectations.

Single room all clean and with everything you need.
Self check in explained very well, it was really easy!
Beautiful historic building.
Very close to the cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore, practically at the corner of... And a stone's throw from Piazza della Repubblica.
There is a common area with a kitchen and the necessary also for coffee or tea.
Only suggestion: bathroom light not enough only that of the mirror...
