B&B Locanda I Cherubini

We had no problems getting to the B and B, taxi driver knew exactly where it was. We called Angela and she was with us within 15 minutes to let us in. The room was clean and tidy quite a dark property inside but lets face it you do not come to Florence to sit in your room! Breakfast is servde yourself and the kitchen is opened between 8 and 10am. Not a big breakfast person so what was provided was fine for us. Bread, jams, cereal, yogart, fruit juice ( some varieties i have never tasted before!) and fresh coffee, tea if you want to make it. We were very fortunate that there was no one else staying for our first 3 days but the last night we had to wait about 20 minutes for access to the bathroom. There is another Wc but no bathing facilities. The real downside of this b and b is the noise, it is above a nightblub which you do not hear any music but the patrons have no respect that there are people sleeping in the apartments above and i do not think that thye are asked to kepp their noise down either by the owners. I was woken up every night by peolpe singing and shouting and i had earplugs in as had read previous reviews. That said you are within 5 minutes walk to the centre of Florence and all that it has to offer!! I would recommend this b and b if you go with expectations that it is basic and you get what you pay for £239 for 4 nights, bargain. Florence is fantastic and i cannot wait to go back.... soon!!
